        Next-Generation KPI Software Results in 15x Efficiency Gain

        San Francisco, CA, August 16, 2016 – DevonWay, the country’s only provider of fully tailorable, Cloud-hosted Continuous Improvement software, is pleased to announce a major release of its Metrics and Key Performance Indicators product, and the successful implementation of that product at one of the largest public utilities in the United States. The implementation resulted in over 350 KPIs across 11 functional areas, and was the first instance at this utility where complex indicators, sometimes comprising over 25 inputs and attributes, were defined by business owners without any technical assistance.

        “The previous model made it challenging to create new KPIs quickly or easily,” says Michael Lentz, Director of Products at DevonWay. “A simple KPI would take at least a day to create, while more complicated ones could take up to a week. The new tool lets business users create a new indicator in as little as a few minutes, without help from IT.”

        These efficiency gains were achieved by improving three major areas. The first was the user experience: the new version simplifies reporting and data entry, and improves performance up to 70%. Second, the product simplifies maintenance and administration by automatically resolving complex data dependencies. And finally, the product improves overall speed of development, in some cases up to 15x.
