HSE Global Series
Offering conferences throughout the year, the HSE Global Series provides multiple opportunities for health and safety professionals to come together throughout the world. The series offers immersive events on a platform centered around fostering in-depth discussions and real-life talk – all with the goal of improving safety, reducing incidents and saving lives.
Seven events are planned for 2023, with locations ranging from the United States to the United Kingdom to the Middle East. A couple of the upcoming options include:
- On March 14-15, safety professionals can join the HSE North American Congress to discuss topics including “Leveraging Technology To Drive Risk Reduction” and “Psychological Safety & How It Relates To Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.”
- Later, the 2023 HSE Europe Congress in Germany, happening April 25-26, will delve into topics such as “From Safety to Sustainability – what is changing in the business” and “How EHS can play an important role in ESG.”
ASQ World Conference on Quality and Improvement
The World Conference on Quality and Improvement, or WCQI, offers an opportunity for thousands of professionals from aerospace to education and beyond to come together for three days of learning aimed at creating long-term gains in quality. Hosted by ASQ, a global organization aimed at seeking excellence through quality, the conference is happening May 7-10 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Quality improves safety outcomes, and this year’s conference theme is built around “Strengthening the Quality Foundation.” It promises to offer learnings that will support and reinforce the essentials of quality, as well as embrace newer concepts in the area, such as culture, diversity and ESG. Key areas of focus include:
- Supplier and Supply Chain Management
- Risk, Resilience and Sustainability Tools
- Quality’s Impact on Leadership, Org Excellence, and Inclusion
- Emerging Professionals in Quality: A Career Primer
Verdantix Environment, Health & Safety Summit EMEA
The 2023 Verdantix conference will be held June 6-7 in London, England. The annual event invites senior change-makers to come together for content, insights and analysis that will help future-proof their organizations. As put on its webpage, “Our events bring together leaders who really want to understand the world around them, and to act as change-makers within it.”
While the agenda and keynote speakers haven’t yet been released for 2023, past events have lived up to their promise. Previous speakers include leaders from Pfizer, BP, Amazon, NASA and many other organizations – each with a unique perspective on how to tackle emerging challenges in EHS.
ASSP Safety Conference & Expo
Happening June 5-7 in San Antonio, Texas, the annual American Society of Safety Professionals Safety Conference & Expo provides a forum for occupational safety and health (OSH) professionals. The conference offers an opportunity to hear from and network with top safety leaders, plus get firsthand experience with the latest products and services in the industry.
This year, topics and speakers will focus on:
- Understanding issues facing OSH professionals
- Building competencies to face challenges
- Engaging in discourse in OSH
- Discussing emerging issues
The conference is open to anyone in the safety profession or a related field, with all levels of experience represented during the program.
